Rev. Kyle Kaurin - Senior Pastor

Pastor Kyle was saved as a young child but feels his Christian walk began when he was 19 years old.  His wife Shea was saved as a young adult.  He believes that God has placed His hand on his life to study the Word, live it, and teach it to others.
Pastor Kyle and his wife Shea have three young children–Ethan (5), Abigail (3), and Faith (1).  Shea holds a degree in Business and Marketing.  They have lived in Virginia for several years in the DC area.  He has been the Director of Young Adult Ministries (18-30 years old) in Immanuel Bible Church in Springfield, Virginia, for six years.
Pastor Kyle was in the Air Force for eight years and served in Desert Storm.  He earned his Associates Degree in the Air Force in 1996 and then enrolled in Philadelphia College of the Bible upon leaving the Air Force.  He majored in Bible and graduated with honors and was inducted into the Honor Society of the Association for Biblical Higher Education and was given the Delta Epsilon Chi Award (based on high grade-point average, Christian character, and leadership ability).  There he met his wife, who was the Director of Recruitment.
After graduation, they moved to Maryland, where he earned his Master of Divinity and Master of Theology degrees in 2000 and 2001 from Capital Bible Seminary.  He graduated Magna Cum Laude and was Senior Class President.
While serving at Immanuel Bible, he had participated in many conferences on evangelism, family life, small groups, and church leadership.  While earning his masters degrees, he participated in a “Walk Thru the Bible” seminar on the Old and New Testaments and enjoyed a tour of Israel.

He was ordained on July 19, 2001, by a council of fifteen men from Capital Bible Seminary and Immanuel Bible Church.
